David Almonte

David Almonte is a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Manager at Rhode Island based, Amica Mutual Insurance Company. Locally, David is a current board member and treasurer for the Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corporation (RIHEBC), appointed under current RI Governor Dan McKee. He is a past graduate of Bryant University and recently received his master’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in Organizational Leadership.

Nationally, David was recently appointed to serve a three-year term on the AICPA’s Governing Council, which is the governing body of the AICPA, a global professional organization with almost 700,00 members worldwide (partnership with CIMA). The Governing Council is comprised of 265 members and representatives from every state and U.S. Territory. Previously, David was a six-year member of the AICPA’s Financial Literacy Commission where he helped lead a national media tour helping to spread financial literacy to over 12.5 million Americans nationwide, along with leading media efforts, including live TV, radio, podcasts, and print interviews. Further, David is a past member of the National AICPA’s NFP/Governmental Training Program Conference Planning Committee and past speaker at the National Conference, as well as a 2014 graduate of the National AICPA Leadership Academy. David has been awarded national 40 under 40 nominations the past three years by the CPA Practice Advisor.

David has been published in a number of media outlets, including The New York Times, CNBC, CNBC + Acorns, AICPA Journal of Accountancy, Kiplinger, Chase.com, US World and News Report, Yahoo Finance, and many more.

David lives in Rhode Island with his wife and two daughters and is currently working on publishing his first book, entitled “Break the Mold,” which will be a fable about a young man trying to navigate this crazy world while dealing with failure, success, outside influences and opinions, leadership, and life – tentative release date is the fall of 2024.

Erica Busillo Adams

Erica Busillo Adams is a passionate change maker and nonprofit leader who has built her career working for incredible organizations like The Philadelphia OrchestraSave The BayThe Autism Project, and Providence Public Library, where she recently oversaw a $28 million capital campaign to fund the largest library renovation in Rhode Island state history. Erica is proud to have joined the team at Lincoln School – the only girls school based on Quaker values in the United States – as their Director of Advancement in August 2023.

In addition to serving on the Board of FountainHead RI, Erica is a member of the Hope Club and the Rotary Club of Providence and is the Chair of the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – RI Chapter. Erica holds a certificate in nonprofit leadership from Tufts University, was selected as both a 2020 “40 Under Forty” and 2017 “Woman to Watch” in Social Services honoree by Providence Business News, and an “Emerging Nonprofit Leader” by the Rhode Island Foundation in 2014.

Donald ‘D.J.’ Carcieri started in the Financial Services industry in 2010, joining Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor in 2014. He received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation in 2016 and became a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor in 2018.

D.J. is also the assistant varsity basketball coach at Bishop Hendricken and is a member of the Diocese of Providence’s Investment Committee. D.J. lives in Coventry with his wife, Amy and their sons, Carter and Christopher. While not spending time with family or coaching, D.J. enjoys golf, cooking, learning about wine, and playing chess.

Based in New York City, Jason has played a pivotal role in advancing Energy as a Service microgrids in the US, notably contributing to the upcoming groundbreaking JFK’s New Terminal One Microgrid, which is poised to become the largest rooftop terminal solar array in the country. With a diverse professional background spanning the US, Middle East, and Europe, including roles at Schneider Electric and SE, he has cultivated expertise in operations, business development, marketing, and sales management.

Furthermore, Jason holds the position of operating partner at Aerion Capital, a family office investment firm that places a special emphasis on opportunities related to the transition towards clean energy.

He is deeply passionate about digital transformation, international travel, the future of education, and providing guidance to non-profit organizations and startups regarding their business models.

In terms of education, Jason obtained a BA in marketing from Bryant University in 2009, earned a Six Sigma black belt certification from Villanova University, and completed an MBA program at Georgetown University.

Originally from Colombia and with a passion for languages, Kassandra is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese. She has an eternal thirst for knowledge and is an outdoor enthusiast. Christopher Stevens

Christopher Stevens is an Executive Director for J.P. Morgan Chase, supporting the Commercial Bank’s Middle Market effort in New England. He currently leads the Rhode Island Banking office. Previously, Christopher was a Senior Underwriter responsible for negotiating, structuring, and underwriting credit. Prior to Chase, Christopher worked in various roles at Brown Brothers Harriman, including Mutual Fund Accounting, Private Account Services, and Commercial Banking.

Christopher is currently a Trustee and Treasurer for the Providence Public Library. He is also an active member of ACG’s Deal Hunters Committee (Association for Corporate Growth) and serves as Vice President for the Business Associates Club. Christopher graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA with a BA in Economics. He received his MBA from the Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University in Boston, MA.
