Recap: Self-Care and Mental Health Panel Event
About this Event
On Thursday, May 27th, FountainHead RI successfully hosted its first educational community panel event of 2021, on the topic and “Mental Health and Self-Care”. To say we have been through a lot these past 12+ months might be the understatement of the century. The pandemic (still underway) has impacted each one of us differently; however it most likely has changed the way you live your life and conduct your business. Life as we knew it may never be the same; and for some parts of our lives, that very well may be okay. Sadly, some of us have lost loved ones and others have not seen their loved ones in quite some time. How do you cope with something that can be so traumatic? How can you emerge from a global pandemic with greater resilience and inspiration? What is self-care and why is it so important?
Our panelists (Katie McDonald, Wayne Grover and Caroline Mailloux) and moderator (Janella Watson) held a dynamic discussion, loaded with keen insights and timely responses to the multitude of questions posed by our audience. We typically do not record these events, however, given the importance of the discussion at hand and where we are in the world today, our board felt it necessary and vital to share this recorded discussion with our entire community.
